Our Quiet Place

We read the book, The Quiet Place, today.  We were talking about how sometimes we just need to go somewhere for some quiet and to escape the noises of life around us.  We took an adventure outside to the nature preserve where we were able to listen to the book and do our own work about a place that we would like to call our personal "quiet place". The stadium seating outside by the pond in Swickard Woods was perfect and peaceful!  

When we finished some of us took a little peruse around the pond to look for frogs and other cool wildlife!
