This morning we got to helper Mr. Chris raise the American Flag for our school! We learned lots of facts and neat things about the flag too!
The 50 stars stand for all 50 states! And the 13 stripes stand for the first 13 colonies that were begun by the pilgrims who came over from England!
Did you know you aren't supposed to fly the flag at night unless it is lit up?
It is illegal to burn or destroy an American Flag. But if a flag touches the ground it has to be retired!
