Ahhh... Earthquake!

Earthquake in Rockwind City

Today we explored earthquakes by actually creating one!  We did some experiments based on force and momentum.  Everyone in class was able to push on the "techtonic plates" to see if the earthquake would show much pressure.  We pushed and pushed, everyone on a side... but nothing happened.  We noticed that it was probably because all the sides were being pushed toward the middle so it evened out the pressure.  Then we had some kids come up and they each got to choose a place on the rug that wasn't being used.   These kidd

The South West part of Rockwind City survived the earthquake with little damage!

The damage was great!  Many buildings and roads were damaged!

Reporters came from near and far to look and report the devastation!
