Parts of 5

Today we were reviewing how to make 5.  In kindergarten children were taught the parts of 5 to fluency!  We were trying to come up with ways to show the amount of 5!

Then we talked about the 6 addition problems that we can do to equal 5.  We discussed how the "turn around facts" can still equal 5!  We call these the Reciprical problem or the Communitive Property.
